<p>If you have traveled Rogue River hwy out of Grants Pas headed toward the town of Rogue River you have notice there is quite a facelift occurring. What a difference this will make when completed. Sidewalks, bike lanes, center dividers, turn lanes and lots of shrubs, trees and lighting. This old part of town has looked a bit haggard but not much longer. I believe everyone will benefit from this project.</p>

The Coffer dam built out of rock and sand has a spot where the turbulent water has cause some of it to slough away. It will be interesting to see what happens next. The Spring Chinook are just getting started on their migration up the Rogue River. I would hate to see them have to hold up the run again.</p>
