Construction has started on the Home Depot in Grants Pass, Oregon. The official ground breaking ceremony took place this morning June 14th, 2011. Here is a picture of Stacie and a group of dignitaries from the City and Chamber of Commerce at the site. February 2012 is the projected opening date for the new store.

I have worked at home improvement, construction supply; ( both private and commercial accounts), and 30+ years in related field, extending to customer service / sales as well as promotions and advertising; inter-corporate relations to meet client needs in finance and supplies as a construction financier for individuals as well as multi-unit construction in service to the developers / contractor.
The store may not exist today; but if you would desire immediate relationship development to begin with contractors and developers, someone Regiocentric to these resources, to which the enterprise has targeted as a viable client base, like myself, could be promoting, building a base of immediate, active demand for immediate service with feet on the ground. I heard the rumors of the construction of a Home Depot here in grants pass a couple of years ago in Alaska. Seeing it actually happen is quite exciting. I worked at The Home Depot in Juneau for a few months and loved it. I would like to know how to apply to the one here in Grants Pass.

Finally, I won’t have to make that long drive out past Medford to find those products that only Home Depot supplies!
Wish the store had been in Grants Pass a few years earlier when I had many more projects, but even so, I will put aside my remaining projects, until Home Depot is finally up in February.
